The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta actively took part in the “Interfaith Diversity Week” visits of six Maltese Schools, organised by the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of the Society, during 18 to 22 November 2024.

Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the Former President of Malta, the Chair of the Foundation, together with the faith leaders delivered very encouraging messages during these visits.

Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta, highlighted the importance of the interfaith harmony, tolerance and Peace building.

He said that, respecting each other’s religious beliefs and being considerate when speaking or writing anything are truly core principles for building harmonious and cohesive societies; as the Holy Quran guides us to: “Speak kindly, gently and considerately with people.”
