On Saturday 21^st December 2024, Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, President Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta (https://ahmadiyya.mt/), together with the community members visited the ‘Smiling with Jerome’ Foundation, and presented festive delights for those who are passing through difficult times, particularly those who have been diagnosed with cancer or other serious ailments; including families whose kids have special needs, rare diseases, conditions or disabilities.

The community members were welcomed by Mrs. Josette Frendo, one of the founding members of the ‘Smiling with Jerome’ Foundation. She briefed them about the services of the foundation and its reach out to the families and individuals in need.

Imam Atif said that, “serving mankind was a core principle and basic tenet of Islamic teachings and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community always tried its utmost to serve mankind in any way possible”. He appreciated and commended the services provided by the Foundation and said that: “This visit is not the first and last, rather, it is the beginning of support and assistance of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta towards this noble cause, and will also be helping in any way possible in the future.” Net News – NewsBook
