The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta’s women organisation visited Caritas Malta Women Centre to celebrate ‘International Women’s Day 2025’, and presented gifts to residents of women’s rehab programme and the female staff members.

During the visit they also highlighted that Islam grants women a very high status in the society. The Holy Quran contains hundreds of teachings, which apply both to men and women alike; and underlines the moral, spiritual and economic equality of men and women, and their respective roles within the society.
