
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta celebrated Eid-Ul-Adha with the residents of Dar il-Liedna on Sunday, 8 June 2025, sharing the occasion with traditional cuisine. Dar il-Liedna is an Open Centre located in Fgura that offers accommodation to unaccompanied minors and is managed by the Agency for the Welfare of Asylum Seekers (AWAS).
Eid-Ul-Azha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar. The day is marked by prayer, reflection, and acts of generosity, especially towards those in need. Sharing this special occasion with the residents of Dar il-Liedna made the celebration even more meaningful, fostering unity, compassion, and community spirit.
