By the grace and blessings of Allah the Almighty, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta successfully held its 7th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) on Sunday, 19th October 2025. The theme of this year’s Jalsa was: “Zikr-e-Ilahi – The Remembrance of Allah.”
The Jalsa commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an Urdu poem and then the special message of His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih Vaba.
In his message, Huzoor-e-Anwaraba reminded members of the true purpose of Jalsa Salana — ‘to tread on the path of righteousness’. He elaborated:
“This does not mean that we should entirely forsake the world and cut ties with everyone completely. Rather, whilst living in this world and fulfilling our responsibilities, we must continue to remain upon the path of righteousness; and no worldliness should deter us from that objective.”
His Holiness further advised:
“I encourage you to form a personal relationship with Allah Almighty and endeavour to become the best of Ahmadi Muslims. Offer your five daily prayers regularly and in congregation, increase your supplications and maintain the remembrance of Allah constantly within your hearts.”

Throughout the Jalsa programme, six speeches, two documentaries, Amin of children, and an annual activity report were presented. The speeches were delivered in both English and Urdu, covering the following topics: Finding God in a Godless Society, Humbleness and Modesty of the Holy Prophet (sa), Jihād of the Pen, Blessings of the Nizam-e-Jamaat, Maali Qurbani, and Zikr-e-Ilahi – The Remembrance of Allah
The Jalsa concluded with a silent prayer, followed by lunch and the offering of obligatory prayers.
May Allah always be our Guide and Protector, and keep us steadfast on the path of righteousness and piety. May He enable us to excel in virtue, goodness, and spirituality, and may He bless us all abundantly. Ameen.
