The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta paid a visit to the Dar Merħba Bik Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that provides shelter and support to 17 women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence. During the visit, the Community presented festive sweets to the families and children residing at the shelter.
The donation was received by the Chair of the Foundation, Mr Steve Conti, and Sr Doris Saliba, who briefed the Community on the Foundation’s work and the vital support it offers to vulnerable families.
Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta, conveyed a message of solidarity and support. He expressed his admiration for the Foundation’s dedicated efforts to bring comfort and relief to families affected by domestic violence, and emphasised the importance of kindness, compassion, and respect as the cornerstones of healthy family life. He also reaffirmed the Community’s motto: “Love for All, Hatred for None.”
