Muslims in Malta cheer up Puttinu Cares children

The members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta have come together to help brighten the days of children in Raibow Ward, Puttinu Cares, this festive season. The Ahmadiyya Muslim community presented some panettone to be distributed among young patients. Cakes were presented to Mr. Rennie Zerafa, CEO, and Ms. Angele Cuschieri, the Vice Chairperson, who thanked the community for its visit.

Laiq Ahmed Atif said that, it is always our pleasure to share the happy moments within our communities, and particularly with those who have been passing through a difficult time in their lives. The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be on him, repeatedly emphasised the importance of caring for needy, and supporting all weak and vulnerable members of society. Indeed, it is reported, that he once said, “Find me amongst the weak and poor.” Therefore, we must stand shoulder to shoulder with those who are weak, sick or facing any challenge of life; and that if a person desires to attain the love of God, he should seek to help those who are unable to help, and who are the victims of misfortune. www.newsbook.com.mt www.maltahaber.com
