The festive season is an important calendar event to show solidarity, to extend a hand of friendship and to serve people around us. Like previous years, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta has once again planned some events to share the presents with people in our communities.
Keeping this ritual of solidarity in mind, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta visited the Angela House, Pieta, and presented some seventy Festive panettone for the children, staff and residents of Angela House, Pieta. These traditional cakes were presented to Mother Superior Sr Magdalene Cauchi by Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, President Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta and community members.
Imam Atif said that, in today’s world there is a great deal of uncertainty and many people are desperately suffering and facing grave hardships; and anxiety is increasing. Therefore, it is very important to help each other throughout the year, but, particularly during the festive season so everyone can enjoy these days and also feel that are respected and cared for. Sr Magdalene Cauchi thanked the Ahmadiyya Muslim community for their visit and thoughts. They also discussed some future events that can be held at the Angela House for the residents.
