Death is perhaps the most certain phenomenon in nature and is an integral part of life. The human life, as the life of other creatures, is limited on this earth and everyone has to leave this world one day to join the hereafter. Old generations pass and new generations take their place, thus this natural system goes on since the very beginning of human life on this planet.
When a person dies he leaves his loved ones sad and mourning for days, but he starts his journey to another life. It is true that death physically separates a person from its family, dear and loved ones but they live on in the hearts of their loved ones and their legacy proves their existence in people.
The news of death of the former Prime Minister of Malta, Honourable Dom Mintoff was spread so quickly over Malta, indeed all across Europe, and soon he became the talk of the town. And in few minutes all around Malta people became sad and started writing their messages of condolences to his family and friends.
I never had the chance to meet him personally, but I always heard people talking about his strong character and commitments. This shows that he left great marks on the national politics and in the formation of this beautiful Island. Mostly people appreciate his reforms in the social sector and helping the poor and the needy people. Many people described him that he was not only the architect in his profession but he was also the architect of Maltese society and social reforms.
We want to show our sincerest condolences to his family, friends and to all his dear ones. May God bless them with the patience and strength to deal with this tragedy.
We pray may his soul rest in peace. Paċi tkun miegħek il-Perit.
