The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta has been very closely monitoring and following the developments and trying to fully comply and abide by all the guidelines and instructions issued by the government and the health authorities. The reason is that obedience to the authorities is a religious duty and the Holy Quran commands Muslims to remain faithful not only to God and Prophet but also the authority they live under. It says:

According to the instructions of the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Malta is fully abiding by the guidelines issued by the Maltese Government and the health authorities, and has SINCE CANCELLED all the community activities, social engagements and gatherings.
